Purchased by my in-laws, no further information about source is known. Family lore has that this is somehow valuable. Frame is not original to the painting.

Thank you for the additional images and your patience. I am very sorry for the late answer but regarding a technical issue the new imaged were not displayed. The apprised object is a painting made in oil on canvas with the measurements of 22 x 40 inches. It depicts a view in a forest with a little river. the painting is signed in white letters in the right corner. Sadly this signature is not readable.
This piece is in good condition and there are no serious damages visible.
An estimation would be between 100 to 200 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
