Artist drawing paper 19 inches tall 13 inches across Signed in pencil by Louis Mason
Estate sale
This is a fairly contemporary, late 20th to 21st century limited edition signed and numbered color lithograph print that is entitled "Practice Time" by a self-promoting and self taught artist, Louis Mason. Mason retired as a teacher in Wisconsin and moved to Glendale, Arizona where he established a Kindergarten Art Studio. His style is naive and works feature life aspects that are taken for granted. In this print, a man is depicted playing frisbee with his dog outdoors in a fall or autumn like landscape. The A/P stands for 'Artist's Proof' which are essentially initial print runs of a limited edition that are produced by the printer to check for any flaws or corrections to be made before the limited edition run. Most works will sell for their highest retail asking price when sold direct from the artist or primary gallery, these generally do not retain or gain in value after the initial purchase. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail 'asking prices' can be higher and vary.
