Greetings and thank you for submitting images of this painting to Mearto for evaluation. You have a 20th century, oil on canvas painting depicting a hazy mountain scene with a cottage in the distance.
This type of painting would have been purchased at a fine furniture store and was intended, as the size indicates, as something to hang over the couch. In most cases these canvases were hand-painted in a production setting and the signature was generic; we may never know who the artist is. Today these paintings are valued for their decorative qualities rather than for the artist who painted it.
A similar canvas, also signed A. Boren was sold at auction in 2010 for $25USD and several have sold via EBay for $100USD. Thank you for your submission, I hope you find this information useful.
