What does this mean?

This is a vintage early 20th century framed color lithograph print reproduction of a painting by Thomas Moran. If you look closely at the close-up images you provided, you will see a dot matrix pattern on the surface that is indicative of machine printing. It was common throughout the 20th century for publishers to print images of paintings and sell them as decorative wall art through decorator, furniture and framing shops. In general, an actual original oil painting would not be framed under glass. The estimate is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables.
