39 inches by 51 inches, the matt board is 7 inches and 10.5 inches bottomweighted. The painting was mounted in Germany in 1858.
I purchased this painting from an auction in Denver. The original art collector had died and her family was selling all of her collection.
Dear Gesina,
Thank you for your request. This is a watercolor on paper with the measurements of 51 inches by 39 inches. It depicts an abstract motif. The watercolor in sepia is signed "Müller-Kühn". The german designer and artist Helmut Müller-Kühn was born 1929 and started his artistic career as a designer for Braun. Together with Hans Gugelot, he developed some designs for record players and radios. Mainly he draws watercolors with abstract motifs like this object.
An estimation would be from 300 to 600 USD.
This estimation is based on actual recent past recorded auction sales of comparables. Retail "asking prices" can be higher and vary.
With best regards,
Georg
